Between 1986 and 2006, Ursula Gut-Winterberger Dr. iur. engaged in a variety of activities in the private sector. Among other posts, she was a member of the management team at the major bank Credit Suisse and was Vice Director of the life insurance group Swiss Life. Ursula Gut-Winterberger began her political career as a local councillor and commune president of Küsnacht in the canton of Zurich. Between 2006 and 2015 she was a senior civil servant for the canton of Zurich and was initially in office as construction director and, from 2007, finance director.
