Professional career

Hans-Ueli Vogt studied law at the University of Zurich. In 2003, he became an assistant professor and in 2007 an associate professor. He's been teaching private and economic law at the University of Zurich since 2013 as an ordinary professor. During his studies and professional carrer, he travelled to New York, Harvard, Beijing and London. Hans-Ueli Vogt's teaching, articles and presentations mainly concern corporate and securities law and Corporate Governance. As a freelance lawyer he also provides legal advise and is active in the field of arbitration. Between 2015 and 2021 Hans-Ueli Vogt sat in the National Council for the rightwing Swiss People’s Party. In 2022 he stood for election to the Federal Council.
